Kingsboro manager details ARPA-funded DPW cold storage, hazard-mitigation update and developer talks with National Grid

He said the structure will allow DPW to store equipment indoors, extend equipment life and better organize the yard.
Moiselle also announced kickoff of a FEMA hazard‑mitigation plan update supported by technical-assistance funding from the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments, and said staff will post information about new department social accounts and a planned website refresh. He noted ongoing coordination with National Grid and the Department of Public Utilities about electric‑capacity solutions for the 93 Kendall Road development and said the developer is exploring splitting a large proposed warehouse into smaller buildings to reduce energy demand; that change would require planning-board approval.
Other items in Moiselle’s report included a Council on Aging hours survey and a plan to potentially extend evening hours, an upcoming community baby shower and summer library programs, the police department’s $3,000 bulletproof‑vest grant, and an opioid‑resources ad campaign running at AMC theaters.
