The Little Falls City Council voted June 1 to award the appliance, bulk, electronics and tire collection contract to Bob Lamir Rolloffs Refuse and Recycling Inc for $10,314.
City staff explained the solicitation covered one‑ and two‑family residential properties (not businesses, apartments, or trailer parks). The bid opening occurred Monday, June 1; staff reported only one quote was received and recommended awarding the low quotation. The city scheduled the collection for July 24–25, 2026 and noted residents will be required to sign up for pickup; staff said the service will be charged to the SCORE grant.
Council asked whether additional item types — for example infrared heaters or tillers — could be added to the eligible list. Staff said the listed items match prior years and the grant terms and that staff will check whether additional items can be added in future years and can handle one‑on‑one exceptions for this year. "If there's a specific individual ... they can always call in and talk to Kelly," staff said.
Council approved the award by motion and voice vote.
