The East Dundee village board approved the consent agenda at its June 1 meeting, accepting the May 18 meeting minutes, a warrants list recorded in the meeting transcript as "$159,61411" and an ordinance authorizing annexation of property located west of Illinois Route 25 and north of Richardson Road into the village.
The board pulled one consent item (item D) for separate consideration and then moved the remaining consent items. The motion carried on roll-call votes: Trustees Solder, Saviano, Kunzie and Mahoney recorded "yes" votes; Trustees Guma and Oakland were absent for roll call earlier in the meeting.
Action: Adoption of annexation ordinance — the ordinance was presented as a clerical step to formalize a previously completed annexation agreement and was described in the meeting record as "tying up" an administrative step that had not been previously memorialized by ordinance.
Next steps: The ordinance will be recorded in the village's official records; the pulled consent item was deferred for later action.
