The policy clarifies that simply not mowing does not constitute an approved meadow; applicants should submit a plan and, if the EAC supports it, staff will record the approval and notify the township manager and code enforcement.
EAC representative Lynette said the council will provide guidance material and that no permit fee is anticipated for typical conversions; only projects that involve more than 20 cubic yards of earth disturbance would need a separate permit. The committee directed staff to move the policy forward for adoption and thanked the EAC for preparing guidance links and review materials.
