Ordinance 1923 (domestic open burning registrations): After discussion over potential administrative burden and resident burdens, the ordinance did not pass its second reading; council recorded multiple 'no' votes and the mayor declared it failed.
Fee schedule: Council approved Resolution 3568 to adopt an updated city fee schedule (with staff noting a demolition fee will be reinserted) and to repeal older fee resolutions; the roll call recorded unanimous approval. The new fee schedule will be in effect as posted with the resolution.
