At its June 1 meeting the Greene Select Board carried several routine procedural actions.
The board opened the meeting, recited the Pledge of Allegiance and approved the minutes of the May 11, 2026 meeting by motion, second and unanimous vote.
The board then moved an executive session item listed under "one MRSA subsection 4056A"; the motion was seconded and the executive session was approved. The transcript records that Mr. Rand recused himself from that item.
Upon return to open session the board announced that a letter arising from the executive session will be sent to the town manager and posted on the town website; the board said the matter is not for open discussion.
The board then moved and approved a set of accounts payable and payroll warrants. The transcript recorded motions to pay several warrants by number and amounts as read aloud; the board voted on each motion and the transcript records unanimous approvals for the listed warrants.
No further formal policy votes or ordinance adoptions were made at the June 1 meeting.
