The clerk noted statutory payments included school and county taxes embedded in the current-fund total and recommended payment "when funds are available."
Earlier in the meeting council discussed a resolution to appoint Matt Morsini as interim fire official, a temporary appointment to comply with the state 45‑day requirement after the prior fire official left. Council members confirmed Morsini is working under a shared-service arrangement with Morstown and that the interim appointment is effective immediately to ensure a licensed official is in place for inspections and reporting.
