EAC elects Jeff as chair and Melissa as vice chair

The McCandless Environmental Advisory Committee elected Jeff as its chair and Melissa as vice chair for the Oct. 1, 2025–Jan. 1, 2027 leadership term, voting by acclamation at its Sept. 10 meeting.
The meeting opened with a routine approval of the prior meeting minutes after a motion and second. Committee members then moved to nominations for leadership positions; Jeff was nominated and confirmed by acclamation as chair, and Melissa was nominated and confirmed by acclamation as vice chair. The committee heard no public comments during the allotted public-comment period.
The elections align EAC leadership with other municipal committee terms. The committee’s next regular meeting will include project updates and planning items the new leadership will help steward.
