The first resolution authorizes a water main and access agreement at 22 David Lapsley Road to permit the town to access wells on private property and install a water main. The Chair said the deed already contained an easement but that an agreement with the owner was needed to clarify terms and responsibilities; the board approved the resolution by motion.
The second resolution approves a water infrastructure easement with the Westchester Land Trust covering the Gardill property, where the wells are located. The Chair noted the easement account for restoration costs tied to heavy-equipment work and included those obligations in the agreement. The board moved and approved the resolution with no recorded opposition.
