The Town of Bedford board on May 20 approved a six-item consent agenda that included acceptance of monthly reports and an abstract of claims and paid priors totaling $683,614.10. The board also cleared permits and procurement actions including a block party permit for Barrett Road on June 20, 2025, a postage-machine lease renewal at Town Hall, and the award of the Harris Road–Babbot Road intersection safety improvement project to Scape Tech Landscape Technology for $599,450.
The Chair presented the items and asked for a motion; the board moved, seconded and voted in favor. "All in favor? I. Motion carries," the Chair said after the vote.
The meeting also handled routine personnel matters under consent and old business, including an extension of a temporary marriage-officer appointment and a reappointment noted later on the agenda. Separately approved during the meeting were a revised memorandum of understanding for a scoreboard at Razer Field and several easement agreements discussed under old business (see separate coverage). The board recorded no dissent on the consent motions.
