Chili honors retiring court clerk Jackie Root for 12 years of service

The judge noted the clerk’s work with district attorneys, public defenders and private attorneys and wished her well in retirement.
Root told the board it had been a pleasure working for the town and accepted the recognition with thanks. The presentation closed with applause and light-hearted remarks among board members.
