The town sought an administrative fee ($250), boarding of doors and windows (which does not require a permit), and daily fines of $250 until the property is secured.
The magistrate noted a case-number typo on the notice (the record showed 2026 where it should be 2025), corrected the timeline and set a new 15-day compliance date of June 17, 2026 to secure the property. He ordered a daily fine of $250 to begin on June 18, 2026 if the property remained unsecured and assessed administrative costs.
The magistrate will issue written orders formalizing the deadlines and fines; the town will seek confirmation the doors and windows are boarded to meet the compliance standard.
