East Lampeter supervisors approve separation agreement with Officer Steven Physicus

The East Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to approve a separation and release agreement with Officer Steven Physicus and authorized the township manager to sign the agreement on behalf of the township.

Tara, a township staff member, told the board that the separation and release agreement had been signed by the officer and "is ready to be approved by the board of supervisors. I would also ask that the board approve the township manager as the signer of the document on behalf of the township." Supervisor Hayward moved to approve the agreement and authorize the township manager to execute it; Supervisor Gallagher seconded the motion.

The board called the question and members present signified approval by saying "I." The motion carried as presented. Following the vote, the chair offered an opportunity for public comment; staff confirmed there were no speakers. A motion to adjourn was then made, seconded and carried.

The meeting was convened at 7 a.m. on June 2, 2026, and was recorded and offered virtually via Zoom and the township's YouTube channel; agendas and calendar updates are posted on the township website. No further actions or items were discussed during the session.
