Historic Chatham announces June History Month, June 20 trolley and volunteer openings for Godfrey windmill

Frank Msina, speaking during public announcements at the Chatham Select Board meeting on June 2, described activities for June History Month organized by the Historic Chatham collaborative, a group of local historic venues and societies. He said the collaborative will run multiple events across sites including the Atwood, the lighthouse, the railroad museum, the public library, and the Godfrey windmill.
Msina said the collaborative will offer a free hop‑on/hop‑off trolley circuit on June 20 that will visit five or six venues and that Eldridge Garage is supplying the trolley. He also said the Godfrey windmill program is short two "millers" (volunteer docents) who provide tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and invited interested residents to contact Parks and Recreation to apply for training and shifts.
Board members thanked the group and wished success for the trolley and volunteer recruitment.
