Summary
The commission approved a two-lot CSM for BNL Properties of Westbend LLC at the southeast corner of County Trunk Highway N and Maple Road and a one-lot CSM by Whit Living Trust splitting roughly seven acres for a future home; both CSMs lie outside the city's sewer service and planning area and were approved with staff-recommended conditions.

The West Bend City Plan Commission on June 2 approved two extraterritorial certified survey maps (CSMs) for properties in the Town of Jackson.
John, planning staff, introduced a two-lot CSM for BNL Properties of Westbend LLC at the southeast corner of County Trunk Highway N and Maple Road that would separate a commercial/industrial corner lot from adjacent agricultural land. Jim said the CSM is outside the city's sanitary sewer service area and planning area and recommended approval.
The second CSM, presented by staff, was a one-lot split of roughly seven acres from a 25-acre parent parcel by Whit Living Trust intended to allow future construction of a home; the CSM includes a 50-foot road dedication to the town that staff said aligns with the city's official map. Jim recommended approval subject to minor corrections before recording. Both CSMs were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Why it matters: The CSM approvals separate mixed uses and create buildable lots for future development while preserving the planning boundary and sewer-service limits the city described.
What happens next: Staff will finalize any required corrections before recording the CSMs with the county.
