The Kent County Health Equity Council approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from its Feb. 3, 2026 meeting by unanimous voice vote after a motion from Kristin Gietzen and a second from Bryana Hopkins. Candace Cowling then moved the proposed updates to the council’s operational guidelines to the Full Council meeting on June 2 for further consideration.
Council Chair Candace Cowling opened the session at 1:05 p.m. and led roundtable introductions before members handled the procedural items. No public comment was offered during the public-comment period.
The operational-guidelines update was not debated at length; Cowling stated the item would be taken up at the June 2 Full Council meeting at the Kent County Health Department. The meeting adjourned at 2:32 p.m.
