Recreation Department staff reported a packed summer calendar at the June 1 Board of Trustees meeting.
Staff said the spray park is open Saturdays and Sundays through June, with full summer hours beginning June 29. The Elmsford Community Cup youth soccer tournament organized by S3A Strategic Smart Soccer will be held on Saturdays June 6, 13 and 20 at Carol Nichols Park, with 59 travel players ages 8–13 participating. Summer camp is scheduled to begin July 6; a Bible summer camp at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel pastoral center is set for July 13–17 ($30 per week, kindergarten–5th grade).
Officials also announced two World Cup public viewings in the park (an evening event June 18 with food trucks and a midday event July 19 for a final match), the annual wide tag sale on June 13 and a range of senior‑center offerings (exercise classes, a nutrition trip, Mother's Day brunch and a salsa night attended by roughly 60 seniors).
The recreation update included a list of sponsors for the soccer tournament and thanked volunteers and department staff for recent events. The transcript lists event dates and participation figures but does not provide registration links or ticket prices beyond the OOLMC camp fee.
