Voorhees committee announces summer events and proclaims June Migraine and Headache Awareness Month

The committee encouraged residents to attend and shared basic logistics (start times, food trucks, beer garden on concert nights).
The committee also adopted a proclamation designating June as Migraine and Headache Awareness Month, noting language in the proclamation that more than 300 medically recognized headache diseases affect more than 40 million Americans and that cluster headache is a rare but severe condition. The proclamation will be forwarded to local resident Julian Verie, who is active on this issue. The committee provided the proclamation for distribution and asked staff to forward it to the named resident.
The meeting proceeded to routine administrative business after the announcements and proclamation.
