Voorhees Township Committee approves multiple bond ordinances and routine resolutions

The Voorhees Township Committee on June 10 carried second readings of four bond ordinances to fund property improvements, road work, sewer utility equipment and the purchase of vehicles and equipment, and approved a slate of routine municipal resolutions.

The committee approved a bond ordinance appropriating $345,500 for township buildings and grounds and authorized related borrowing. A separate ordinance to fund road and related improvements appropriated $2,337,000. The committee also carried a sewer-utility equipment ordinance (transcript shows an appropriation recorded in the minutes but the aggregate principal amount is unclear in the record) and an ordinance to acquire vehicles and equipment appropriating $2,647,500. The slate also included multiple grant insertions (clean communities, recycling, bulletproof vest and others) and renewal of 2024–2025 liquor licenses.
