The Ticonderoga Town Board approved several Public Works resolutions authorizing consultant work, accounting adjustments and temporary transfers to advance infrastructure projects.
The supervisor said a letter of authorization (No. 20251) was approved for AES to prepare the combined sewer overflows annual report at a fee of $2,600 plus reimbursable mileage and printing expenses. The board also authorized a second AES authorization (No. 202502) for water-system pressure logging and data evaluation at $15,500 plus $800 in reimbursables.
Separately, the board approved budget adjustments and interfund loans: transfers from the General Fund to the airport apron expansion project, to the L Riverwalk project, and to the skating rink project until outside funding is received, and a transfer from Central Water to a water-meter project pending funding receipts. The board also approved a budget amendment reducing a payroll line by $1,941 to correct a calculation error.
Why it matters: The AES authorizations fund technical studies that underpin regulatory compliance and capital planning for sewer and water systems; interfund transfers keep projects moving while grant or external funding is not yet in hand, but they increase short-term reliance on general fund liquidity.
The resolutions passed by voice vote; the transcript did not include named roll-call tallies.
