The Aiken City Design Review Board on June 2 postponed consideration of application CERD26-001073 from Will Rogers for a proposed single-family home at 1205 and 129 Park Avenue Southeast after the applicant did not appear to present. The application calls for subdividing the parcels into four lots and constructing a final single-family dwelling on the corner lot; three other dwellings on the block already had prior approvals.
Staff told the board they attempted to contact Rogers and reached voicemail. Board members said they could move the item to the end of the meeting if the applicant returned; absent that, staff will advise him and place the application on a future agenda at his request.
What happens next: the item remains postponed; staff will notify the applicant and the board will take it up when the applicant is present to answer questions.
