Financial approvals: Supervisor Brad Germaux moved to approve total June disbursements of $165,892.06; Chairman Paul Amigh II seconded and the motion passed with two yes votes. The Board approved the June Treasury Balance of $1,978,385.19 and the Specific Service Investment Account balance of $168,710.06, each by motion and recorded as passed with two yes votes. The meeting minutes list detailed line items for disbursements, including payroll $29,703.40 and General Fund disbursements and payroll liabilities $78,284.44.
Waivers and variances: Keller Engineers requested a waiver of Subdivision and Land Development (SALDO) review fees for two Reservoir Road pump‑station parcels; the minutes state total review fees would be $400. Chairman Amigh moved to approve the waiver and the motion passed with two yes votes. Scott and Holly Buchanan submitted a variance agreement to locate a 20x12-foot shed within required setback areas at 1202 Robin Lane; Solicitor Patrick Fanelli reviewed the agreement for recording at the Blair County Courthouse, and the Board approved the Buchanan variance agreement by motion (two yes votes).
Items tabled: The Board tabled the Greendown Acres expansion plan prepared by Clearwell Engineering because no additional information had been received and the Planning Commission requested tabling. Road Foreman John Reed presented a request to change road‑crew hours (from 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) to align with neighboring crews; Chairman Amigh asked for additional review and the Board tabled the request.
Operational updates: John Reed said a new boom mower was scheduled for delivery July 11, funded from Capital Reserve with partial reimbursement from a DCED Local Shares grant. Chief Roger Peacock announced delivery of a new police cruiser and that laptops and equipment provided through a county grant would be installed in cruisers, enabling upgrades to three vehicles in a day. Officer Bryce Martellacci, who completed IUP Police Academy training June 18, began duty June 24 and was sworn in by District Judge Paula Aigner; Supervisor Germaux led a reaffirmation of his oath before the board.
