Stone Park trustees debate event consolidation and nonresident pavilion fee increase

Mayor Beniamino Mazzulla told Trustees Teets and Simplisio Roman that hosting multiple events could be costly and suggested considering a single Music in the Park event featuring a DJ rather than multiple separate concerts. Trustee Teets also said she was interested in adding an event focused on teenagers.
Office Manager Aracely Gutierrez proposed raising pavilion rental fees for the upcoming season to better align with operating costs and maintenance; Mayor Mazzulla recommended keeping resident fees the same and increasing fees for nonresidents. He asked trustees to submit fee suggestions to the Clerk ahead of the Jan. 27, 2026 Board meeting for final approval.
