Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission approves erosion-control plan for 51 Loomis Road construction

The Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission on Sept. 23 approved proposed activity for a two-family dwelling at 51 Loomis Road after staff review of revised plans that added silt-fence dimensions and clarified timing.
Alyssa Barroso, Wetlands Agent, summarized the revisions the commission had requested at the prior meeting and said the updated plan includes dimensions for silt fences. Barbara Knight, speaking for the applicants, said they "will begin clearing the property this winter" and will follow a step-by-step process for planning and securing approvals.
Member Michael McDonnell moved to approve the proposed activity as presented in the plan of record, which covers the construction sequence and erosion and sediment (E&S) controls; Member Diane DeNunzio seconded. The motion passed unanimously, 4–0–0.
The approval authorizes site clearing and construction under the submitted sequencing and E&S measures; Agent Barroso will continue to monitor the site during work to ensure the silt fences and other controls are installed and maintained as shown on the plan.
