On a separate vote the board awarded the Salufo property boundary survey contract to Holden Engineering & Surveying for $8,725, selecting the lowest responsive bid from eight respondents. "We put up to bid, survey costs for surveying that 32.5 acre parcel," staff reported, adding that two higher bids contained either incomplete descriptions or came from firms further afield. The board authorized the town engineer/planner to sign the contract; the motion passed unanimously.
The Committee for Veterans Affairs asked to install a Blue Star Memorial marker on the public‑safety facility grounds; the committee said the Seacoast Garden Club will maintain plantings and the project carries no town cost other than a planning/permit step. The board approved the proposal.
