Residents pitch 'Informthevotenj' and ask about 280 S. Pine Street; mayor reports Code Blue pause

Steven Soloff described a project called Informthevotenj that he said would create a neutral repository of information — articles and interviews — intended to help residents cast more informed votes. Soloff said the resource would be voluntary for candidates and officials to use and serve as a transparency tool for voters.
Michael Huggins returned to ask council whether there were any updates about a possible resolution concerning a property at 280 S. Pine Street. Council President Edward Bethea responded that discussions are ongoing and that he hopes to have some type of resolution by the next council meeting.
In his report Mayor Albert Kelly said Code Blue — the city’s cold-weather sheltering response — had not been active during the prior two weeks. He said the city had averaged about 30–40 people per night when Code Blue had been active and invited the Code Blue coordinator to come introduce themselves to council.
No formal council action on the public comments was recorded during the meeting; council members acknowledged the remarks and listed follow-up items for administrative staff where appropriate.
