Kujava and the Board discussed funding options for a proposed Jail Coordinator position and a School Outreach for Drug Prevention position; the county is considering applying for a U.S. Department of Justice grant to support these roles. The Board approved Director actions and case actions, including bills totaling $192,265.10 (M/S/C Nybladh, Duckstad 5-0).
Kujava also provided the Board with 2026 budget items including an out‑of‑home placement report and the quarterly report. The actions recorded are approvals to proceed with program administration and to return to the Board for any subsequent hiring or funding decisions that require Board authorization.
