At its Nov. 20 meeting the Rumford Board of Select Persons completed a batch of procedural votes and appointments.
The board approved Warrant #21 (Pepin motion; second Theriault) and accepted minutes from Oct. 2 and Oct. 16, 2025 (Pepin motion; second Capponi), each by unanimous vote. DiConzo moved to approve a blanket letter of approval for gambling control; that motion passed 5‑0.
The board awarded cleaning contracts for town‑owned properties on Pine Street and Erchles Street to Brookside Maintenance Associates LLC (DiConzo motion; second Theriault), vote 5‑0. It also approved a fourth extension of the Joint Ambulance Service Agreement (Brennick motion; second DiConzo), vote 5‑0.
Appointments: Brennick moved to appoint Jeff Secrist to the Appeals Board (second DiConzo); motion passed 5‑0. The board corrected the Planning Board listing for James A. Paltanawick to record him as an Alternate (Brennick motion; second DiConzo), vote 5‑0.
