K. Brennan moved to approve the March 10, 2026 meeting minutes; B. Catanzaro seconded and the board voted unanimously to approve the minutes. Later in New Business, B. Catanzaro moved to approve two transfers totaling $16,500; K. Brennan seconded and the motion passed with all ayes.
First Selectman G. Smith told the board the Board of Selectmen had approved the transfers the prior evening and explained that Cambridge Electric submitted the lowest quote and would phase work so the building would not need to be emptied. K. Brennan moved to waive the procurement policy to permit the Fire Department to use Cambridge Electric’s quote of $23,751.88; B. Catanzaro seconded and the board voted unanimously to approve the waiver.
Board members present for votes were J. Carroll, K. Brennan and B. Catanzaro; the First Selectman serves as an ex‑officio non‑voting member to constitute a quorum. The board also confirmed it would cancel the May 12 regular meeting due to Chair and Vice Chair unavailability and will hold a workshop following the May 13 public hearing on the FY2027 budget.
The meeting adjourned at 8:19 PM after a unanimous motion to adjourn by K. Brennan, seconded by B. Catanzaro.
