The Site Review Advisory Committee voted March 3 to forward a recommendation to the Planning Board for a two‑lot subdivision at the corner of South Street and Richards Avenue proposed by the Paul J. Griffin Family Trust.
John Changman (Haley Ward) presented preliminary plans showing two conforming lots, underground stormwater detention and a proposed 10‑foot radius easement to the city to accommodate future roadway improvements. Alex Monastero of the development team said the homes are intended as production single‑family residences; utility and grading plans include a Ferguson underground detention system and a 6‑foot concrete sidewalk along South Street.
TAC comments focused on driveway configuration, sidewalk easements, and construction‑period traffic and deliveries. Members recommended adjustments to keep the roadway clear for school children and emergency access during construction. After discussion a member moved to recommend the subdivision to the Planning Board; the motion carried by voice vote.
