The Site Review Advisory Committee voted March 3 to forward a favorable recommendation to the Planning Board for the Sagamore Avenue site plan at 1151 Sagamore after Haley Ward representatives addressed key drainage and circulation comments.
Drew Wolowski of Haley Ward said the team revised the plan to raise the site grade, add infiltration systems and remove a guardrail per DPW direction, and that the design now accommodates off‑site runoff into updated drainage structures. "Much of these comments were related to the drainage plan for the site," Wolowski said.
Committee members pressed the applicant on snow‑plow turning area and emergency vehicle access; the applicant confirmed the driveways are 20 feet wide and do not include a fire truck turnaround because the buildings will be sprinklered. The TAC also discussed the existing basketball hoop in a cul‑de‑sac and whether it should remain as an existing condition.
A committee member moved to send the application to the Planning Board with a favorable recommendation; members voted in favor. Staff will verify remaining technical notes (striping, ADA dimensions and final drainage coordination) as part of the referral package.
