Chelmsford — The Chelmsford Dog Park Advisory Committee recorded on March 9 that the state Department of Environmental Protection has directed an expansion of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) monitoring to include the park’s parking lot.
The minutes say the PFAS monitoring expansion follows direction from the state DEP. Committee members did not provide a timetable or budget for the testing during the meeting; Lisa Grasso said other landscape and site-improvement items remain under bid.
