Cudahy council approves road project awards, ordinances and resolutions in unanimous votes

Council members amended the public hearing date for Grange Avenue sewer and water special assessments, moving it from June 6, 2017 to May 2, 2017. The Council approved a temporary extension of premises for La Serenata (4978 S. Packard Ave.) for an event on May 5, 2017, at the request of Miguel Hernandez.
In ordinances, the Council approved Ordinance No. 2436.2 amending street use and special event permitting review. The body also approved Ordinance No. 2446 to create a provision for adult school crossing guards and Ordinance No. 2447 to remove an alley restriction from a vacated and discontinued alley.
On resolutions, the Council approved Resolution No. 6387.4 designating city depositories and adopted resolutions recognizing Rick Mostowik (No. 7107), Luann Barber (No. 7108) and Adam Behnke (No. 7109) for acts of heroism.
