Big Bear City CSD directs award of five-year on-call engineering contract to Water Systems Consulting

General Manager Glenn Jacklin told the Board the District received two proposals and staff determined that Water Systems Consulting best met the District's needs; District legal counsel prepared an updated five-year agreement. The Board discussed the recommendation and—after Board questions and no public comment—approved directing the General Manager to execute the agreement (motion: Director JoKay Rowe; second: Director Bob Rowe).
The Board's action authorizes staff to proceed with the recommended consultant for on-call engineering and construction management services and to finalize contract documents consistent with the terms reviewed at the meeting. The District did not disclose contract dollar amounts or additional scope details during the public session.
