Woolwich Joint Land Use Board adopts two land-use resolutions; chair announces resignation

The Woolwich Township Joint Land Use Board on Dec. 18, 2025, adopted two resolutions granting a bulk variance and amended final approval, agreed to continue a development application to Feb. 5, 2026, and heard Chairman Maugeri announce his resignation after 18 years of service.
The board approved Resolution #2025-24, granting a bulk variance to William and Kathleen Rode for property at 536 Lakeview Drive (Block 45, Lot 4.01). Cotton moved to adopt the resolution, Rushton seconded, and a roll-call vote recorded Cotton, Daniels, Matthias, Healey, Fluellen and Rushton as voting yes.
The board also adopted Resolution #2025-25, granting Summit Ventures, LLC amended final approval for Villages I, Section 2.4 (Block 28, Lot 14). Rushton moved to adopt the resolution, Healey seconded, and the same recorded yes votes appeared in the roll call for adoption.
The meeting record shows the board approved prior minutes from the Aug. 21, 2025 regular meeting; Rushton moved to approve and Healey seconded. Kauffman, Maugeri, Moorer, Nocentino and Trautz were recorded as abstaining on the minutes vote.
Under old business, Solicitor Mike Aimino told the board the applicant for PB2025-04 (Park Grove Development, LLC; Block 16, Lot 5) requested a continuance to Feb. 5, 2026, and that no renotice would be required. Chairman Maugeri told the board he is resigning after 18 years with the JLUB. Rushton moved to adjourn, Trautz seconded, and the meeting adjourned at approximately 7:07 p.m.
The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m.; records note the session was held in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.). Audio recording of the meeting is on file and minutes were signed by Shannon Kilpatrick, Joint Land Use Secretary.
