The Village of Bayside Architectural Review Committee asked homeowners Randy and Kasey Boknevitz to resubmit a revised fence application for 9097 North Bayside Drive with additional details and sent the matter to staff for review during its July 8, 2024 meeting.
Randy and Kasey Boknevitz appeared and described a project that originally proposed 63 lineal feet of four-foot-high black aluminum open-design fence on the south side of the property and 102 lineal feet of six-foot-high fence elsewhere. The applicants then sought to add approximately 30 lineal feet of privacy (solid) fence around an existing deck and confirmed they intend to use three different fence styles on the property.
Committee members expressed concern about how the revised configuration would comply with Village ordinances and requested a clearer plan showing where fencing would be solid versus open, and the distance from the lot line for each section. Committee Member John Krampf moved, and Committee Member Kavin Tedamrongwanish seconded, to request staff review of the new parameters and to table the project; the motion carried unanimously.
Separately, the Committee tabled the application for 551 East Fairy Chasm Road (applicants Lee and Estelle Siegman) because the applicant was not present. No new hearings or votes on either property were scheduled during the meeting. The committee adjourned at 5:24 p.m.
