Berube then moved to approve the Oct. 8, 2025 minutes and Sargent seconded; that motion passed 2-0-0. At the end of the meeting Berube moved to adjourn and Sargent seconded; adjournment passed 3-0-0.
During unfinished business the board received a BOH grant update from Chairperson Berube, which includes coordination with MVPHA. The minutes note that MVPHA’s new administrative assistant will visit each office regularly as part of that coordination. The board also agreed to continue monitoring local convenience-store displays for compliance and reviewed permits (the minutes record that permits were reviewed but do not itemize them).
Under new business the board recorded an item regarding Winter Street and explicitly noted that no action was needed. The board set its next meeting for Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Merrimac Police Station Training Room.
