Council recognizes HR employee Maddie Sorey and welcomes Blake Dursteller to the planning commission

Mayor and council recognized Maddie Sorey for exemplary HR work; council appointed Blake Dursteller to the planning commission and Dursteller described his background in accounting, property management and local residency.
At the June 2 meeting Mayor Jeff recognized Maddie (Maddie Sorey) with an exemplary-employee acknowledgement after Jordan Oldham nominated her for her work in HR.
Separately the council moved to confirm the appointment of Blake Dursteller to the planning commission. Blake addressed the council, said he moved to North Logan at age 12 and has lived locally more than 40 years (except a four-year period), described his education at Utah State (bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business/accounting), and summarized professional experience in public accounting, as CFO for Wasatch Property Management and later real-estate investment work. Council members welcomed him to the commission.
