She cited RCW 8.20.06 on public nuisance and disturbance and urged the council to find ways to block the noise and prevent conduct that disturbs nearby residents.
The mayor responded during a point of information, saying that he directed a sanitary can be delivered to Rainier Trails Park after a resident brought a video allegedly showing a player exposing herself and that the delivery was intended to prevent future incidents and public exposure. "If people wanna be upset, they can be upset at me," the mayor said, clarifying that parks staff were not the department that ordered the can.
The council limited public-comment time, and no formal staff proposal or ordinance change was put before council at this meeting. The matter remains in the public-comment record and could be referred to staff or a committee for follow-up if council requests it.
