Council approves Sunrise Meadows final plat for 28-lot subdivision

The Uniontown City Council approved Resolution 18-75 on May 11, authorizing the final plat for Sunrise Meadows, a 28-lot subdivision south of Roosevelt Avenue and east of Sunrise Boulevard.
Chris Bass, the staff member presenting the report, told council that the preliminary plat had been approved under Ordinance 27-88 and that staff’s final review verified sidewalks, streets, frontage improvements, utilities and other conditions required under the preliminary approval. He said performance and maintenance bonds for the subdivision infrastructure had been posted and that the final plat included required certificates under Title 17.
"Each of the requirements the applicant has met," Bass said, and recommended the council find the improvements consistent with the preliminary findings and approve the final plat through passage of Resolution 18-75. The council moved and approved the measure by voice vote.
What’s next: With council approval of the final plat, the city will record the final map once administrative certificates are complete and the posted performance bonds remain in force per municipal standards.
