Engineers propose $500,000 sewer connection fee for Flying J; Pembroke board discusses multi‑year payment option

During the Pembroke Town Board’s Jan. 9, 2025 meeting, board members discussed engineer calculations for a sewer connection fee for the Flying J site and a schedule for two town water districts.

Supervisor Thomas Schneider reported that engineers calculated a $500,000 sewer connection fee that would apply to the Flying J location; he said the town and the developer "may work out a five‑year plan for payment." The board also heard that engineers are progressing on Water Districts 4 and 5 and hope to have both districts out to bid in March or April 2025.
