Commissioner Darlene Bowlin asked whether the operator would help maintain the private driveway that serves other homes; Erbach said he did not represent the property owner and that road maintenance would be handled by the owner.
After Chair Craig Hughes opened the public hearing and no members of the public spoke, Ms. Bowlin and Mr. Hughes recorded opposing votes in an initial 2‑2 split. County Attorney Kalli Jackson clarified the rules regarding tie votes, and commissioners re‑voted; the measure passed 3‑1 (Hatcher, Winall and Hughes AYE; Bowlin NAY). The commission recorded no additional amendments to the CUP on the record during that meeting.
