Supervisor Zgura said he wanted to speak with Jared Bailey first and that he is exploring cost‑saving options including subcontracting winter plowing and hiring a part‑time summer employee. Manager Carter expressed concern that the township’s expanding plow routes and limitations on summer help hours could make subcontracting and part‑time arrangements impractical.
The appointments and the hiring motion were recorded in the minutes; the Board will revisit staffing and cost alternatives in future meetings.
