Pathways Committee chair change after member resignation
Summary
Frank Shinneman announced his resignation effective June 15; the committee elected Katherine (Kitty) Kiefer as chair unanimously and discussed recruiting a replacement and accommodating members with other committee service.
The Salisbury Pathways Committee recorded a forthcoming personnel change and elected a new chair in summer 2015.
At the May 18 meeting Frank Shinneman announced he would move out of town and resign from the committee effective June 15. The committee accepted his resignation and began planning to find a replacement. At the July 20 meeting members nominated and unanimously elected Katherine (Kitty) Kiefer as the committee's chair; Chris Williams nominated and Peggy O’Brien seconded the motion.
Members also discussed calendar conflicts and overlapping service on other boards: Natalia reported being asked to join the Salisbury Board of Education and the committee agreed to adjust meeting dates if necessary. Chris reported he was running for the Board of Finance and the committee agreed to accommodate that schedule if he were elected.
