The Blair Township Planning Commission opened its Jan. 5, 2026 meeting with introductions and a procedural agenda that included the introduction of a new planning commission nominee and approval of previous meeting minutes.
Secretary Dodie Amigh introduced Amisha Wertz as the Planning Commission nominee to fill the vacancy left by the late Teddy Ventre. Amigh told the commission that Wertz may sit in on the meeting but was not eligible to vote because she has not yet been formally inducted by the Blair Township Board of Supervisors.
Tim Shaw moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Monthly Meeting of Nov. 3, 2025; Chris Kreidler seconded and the motion was recorded as passing with three yes votes. With no additional business, Theresa Gillie moved to adjourn; Dodie Amigh seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 5:42 p.m. The commission scheduled its next meeting for Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
