GIS Technician Lisa Starkebaum and Streets Superintendent Jason Kibler described project locations and the Request for Bids process; one responsive bid was received from CS Limited. Councilor Schwartz moved and Mayor Pro Tem Ballesteros seconded authorization for the City Manager to execute the contract with the recommended contingency. Roll call was unanimous (Ahonen, Zahradka, Schwartz, Plata, Ballesteros voting yes) and the motion carried.
The program addresses deteriorated and ADA-noncompliant infrastructure at three priority sites and includes a pavement rehabilitation segment; the contract includes an owner’s contingency to cover unforeseen conditions.
