Task Force reviews proposed bylaws to require Wright County residency or employment for members

Sarah Grosshuesch presented a proposed update to Task Force bylaws on March 9, recommending that members be residents of or employed in Wright County at the time of appointment and that membership be broadly representative of Wright County’s demographics. The draft specifies membership should consist of 9 to 15 appointees selected from consumers/consumer advocates, community members, public health professionals, health-care practitioners, providers/hospitals, youth-serving organizations and education.
Grosshuesch said the proposed language will go to the County Attorney for review, then be voted on by Task Force members at the April meeting, and—if approved—sent to the County Board for final approval. No vote on the bylaws occurred at the March meeting.
The Task Force included the bylaws update on the April 13, 2026 agenda along with 2024/2025 MDH Annual Reporting and Environmental Health.
