Council corrects Lewisville client count in county agreement from 4,227 to 130

"Our 1st agreement listed that we were they were gonna serve 4,227 Lewisville residents. That number has been reduced because that was the number of total clients that they serve throughout the entire year, and it should have been just what Lewisville clients are... the number is now a 130 residents," Sheehan said. Council members reacted that the change represented a "huge difference" in reported scale, and staff said the earlier figure was a mistake tied to county-wide reporting.
Staff confirmed the correction would be incorporated into the agreement and that reporting requirements vary by funding source, with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds requiring race and ethnicity reporting. The council did not take further action beyond the clarification at that meeting.
