Police Jury authorizes watershed-plan contract and grants Entergy right-of-way for pump power connection

Mr. Mitchell also discussed and the Jury approved granting a right-of-way to Entergy to allow power to be connected to a new portable pump storage facility at the Parish Public Works facility. The motion to grant the right-of-way passed without opposition. Separately, Entergy representative Amanda Edge addressed roadway lighting, stating that when non-functioning fixtures are replaced they will be changed to LED fixtures and that those replacements will result in a price increase for affected customers.
