At its June 5 meeting the Taylor Town Council approved a consent agenda that included awarding a chip‑seal contract for Cattle Lane and West Willow Lane to VSS International, Inc.; a pavement contract for the Freeman Park walking path; a contract for Cessna Loop road improvements to Western Grade LLC; approval of the May 2025 check register; and authorization of a grant application for airport runway and taxiway lighting engineering.
Council Member Lynn Dewitt made the motion to approve items A–F on the consent agenda; Council Member April Williams seconded and the council voted unanimously to approve the consent agenda. No separate discussion or roll call on individual contracts was recorded in the meeting minutes.
The approved work programs and the airport lighting grant application move to procurement and grant submission phases; awarded contractors and staff will finalize scopes and timelines as procurement rules and grant procedures require.
